As you all may have noticed, I haven’t posted to my blog in awhile. But I haven’t been idle! I’ve been laying the groundwork for some new things I know you’ll like.

Good News Item 1: I’d been vacillating for a year or so about what book to publish next. I wrote a little of one and a little of another, but neither gave me that Aha! This is it feeling. However, several weeks ago, I had a fresh idea that did give me the Aha feeling.

I know some of you will ask, “What’s the title?” The answer is, “I’m not sure.” Sometimes I don’t compose a final title until I have the entire text completed. My working title (which might change) is Bridges to Understanding–Beyond Me Too.

I’m working on a new page about the book for my website, and I’ll send you a link to it in a future blog post. So you’ll get a better idea of what the book is about.

In due time, I intend to get back to other book projects, including my Dad’s memoire, but I feel strongly that the time is right to complete the new project first.

Good News Item 2: In order to allow myself time to complete the new book ASAP, I’m changing the kind of material I’ll post to my blog. Instead of always composing a new article from scratch, I will post excerpts from my already-published books, Bridges to Consensus and Love on the Rocks with a Twist to my blog. I won’t post book excerpts every time, but often.

Those who’ve already read my books will enjoy refreshing their memories with excerpts they can read in just a few minutes. Others will discover new and helpful ideas for persuading, building consensus and otherwise dealing with people. I hope the excerpts will inspire you to read (or re-read) the entire books, both of which are available on Amazon in print and Kindle editions.

Good News Item 3: Lately, some subscribers have received email notifications of new-posts with the entire text of a blog article pasted into the body of the notice email, all jammed together in one huge paragraph, without the formatting. I believe I’ve found a fix for that, and I used it in the notification for this very post  you’re reading now. Please let me know if you see an improvement.

Meanwhile, be looking for my first excerpt from Bridges to Consensus and  for progress reports on Bridges to Understanding.
